There is more good news than bad news...

I have not been impressed by bad news for nearly twenty years. Of course, the loss of a dear one is always a moment in which you experience grief and pain. But these emotions are only invitations from the body to enter the other world of inner peace.

Just occasionally I watch the world news. But I do not want to let it "come in" to me. I do not follow TV programs with bad news, hardly read newspapers.

'The world is not getting any better' is a statement often heard. That is just a lie of people with pain, who are looking for a way out of facing their own pain. It is a lie of a painful mindset, that in the past everything was better or that everything would get better in the future.

Bad news has everything to do with "collective pain" in this world. People simply appeal to pain rather than joy. Take, for example, the death of Princess Diana. Millions of people around the world were in mourning. The death of this beautiful woman triggered the craving for pain and "unprocessed" pain in their own bodies. We saw the same after the attacks in Paris. People become very reactive on social media and say they are in shock. Perhaps without knowing it, they activate the collective pain of this world.

Many people are more attracted to traffic accidents than to weddings. Unprocessed pain remains stored in our lives as unpaid bills. That is why bad news is big business, because it gives a temporary anesthetic for millions of people. "You see, the world is bad," they can reaffirm, and they wallow in their own pain again without being aware of it.

There is more good news than bad news. There are many more things that succeed than fail. The constant threats of disasters or invisible enemies that reach us through the media keep people trapped in fear and pain. It is precisely that fear and pain that paralyzes and robs the world of real joy and creativity.

In the country where I live, the media reports so many bad news daily that it feels like a blanket of doom and gloom over the country. All that daily complaining and grumbling on a large scale in a country does something with the atmosphere. Negativity does not produce anything at all and only attracts more negativity.

'You must not close your eyes to the reality of all day'. That has been said to me quite often. The question, of course, is what the reality is? If your reality is that you can not resist or withstand the attraction to bad news, then that will be your strongest reality.

You just have to look at the stars to make sure that there is a much larger reality than our tiny planet.
When you make the journey inside, you experience that the strongest reality is simply in your own body. The kingdom of inner peace and peace reigns in you. That is stronger than everything that takes place on planet earth. Always make your inner world stronger than the outside world. Do not allow anything bigger than this inner peace to constantly guide and guard you. I will eventually become a state of mind  that surpasses all reason and all the noise of the insignificant world. This is the constant presence of Jesus in you. Then you have found a treasure in heaven and you understand the proper role as a temporary resident on this turbulent planet.

Setbacks and the bad news on our planet only show that there is a bigger and stronger reality, the supernatural, divine world. Bad news constantly invites us to be full of other things. If there is black, there must also be white, otherwise black can not exist! Our thinking is the gateway to this supernatural world. When this thinking is really focused and changed, our heart, our inner man, will be able to preserve and fully experience that peace.

If you still find it difficult to experience the safety of your own body, if you are not yet able to be anchored in that supernatural world, simply start practicing.

Sometimes it helps (is less spiritual) just to laugh with a few comic movies. Look at the "ordinary" without too much thought. A beautiful flower that blooms openly, the bird that sings, your dog that is happy. Write down the beautiful experiences in your life and make this your report of good news. If the collective pain of this world wants to affect you, you can always revert to something good.

There is more good news than bad news. It is just what you want to see. It's just what you want to think about.
